Hello ! β The World Economic Forum just released their Future of Jobs Report 2025 with an exploration of the main skills to develop to succeed in 2030 π ! But here's the thing - while everyone is rushing to learn everything, let me show you how to be strategic and actually enjoy the learning journey. Today you'll discover:
"The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice." - Brian Herbert" Get comfortable for your 5 minutes of sparks to hack. β β¨ Sparkβ Remember, the ability to learn is a skill (and the willingness to learn is a choice, but I guess if you are still reading this, you have the will π ) β The 5 Essential Skills for 2030β Here are the top 5 skills the World Economic Forum identified : AI and big data, cybersecurity technology literacy, critical thinking, and resilience. β So let me focus on the top 3 that all of us can master as they don't need any specific deep expertise (like cybersecurity for ex). β β AIdaptive SkillsβThis is the WEF's #3 Technology Literacy - I named it AIadaptive skills as it is more than being "literacy". AIadaptive skills is about feeling in control when using generative AI, rather than being overwhelmed. It's like an astronautβs helmβsomething you carry with you to navigate our new environment. β It helps you:
It means knowing how to integrate AI intentionally and for the benefit of humans, not technology, to improve soft and hard skills.
β
β β Leading Through Change (and be antifragile)β
So I would advise you to take the time to invest in team coaching to help you and your team "change"; this is never easy and takes time ;). And build your antifragile mindset ! here is a previous edition on that β β Creative Thinking
This is the WEF's #4. A core skill I nurture and train my coachees. Let your mind wander! For that, you have to create white space. Like a painter's blank canvas, this "white space" is an empty space. In our agenda, in our brain, in our body. So I would have no meetings at least one afternoon per month. Read, sketch, reflect (and go to the sauna - this is my secret π). You have to plan and protect it (this is not easy !! π ); to be clear, this is not lazy! β So how to learn? Over 10 years of coaching innovation and transformation projects, I see that people take the wrong approach: Too Big, Too Slow, Too Costly. Let me show you how less is more. β
β β¨ Hackβ Remember when we learned to ride a bike? We didn't start by learning all the physics of balance, the history of cycling, AND trying to do tricks - we just started with staying upright! Here's what works (tested with over 500 healthcare teams and their leaders)
β Choose ONE Skill Choose One Skill, only one, and be obsessed: podcast, book, articles. You focus your attention on that. Only. β β The LAS Method (Learn-Apply-Share) This is my favorite framework (and yes, I use it with my teenagers too π):
β Favor cheap, short training vs. a long MBA ( the value of the MBA is more for networks to me). β β Value Coaching Over Training β Prioritize practitioner-trainers over pure theorists. A practitioner coach can guide you through real exercises. A trainer-consultant may explain concepts but lacks hands-on application. I recently discussed business innovation in helathacre training for top 5 pharma companies: The two-day training led by consultants may provide theory but lacks real-world coaching from practitioners who apply these skills daily. So you train, but you don't change the way you work. β Thatβs it for today! How did you find the visuals of this edition? What's up with me? β I have been busy writing the content of my new coaching program, ScaleU with AI, to help senior employees and entrepreneurs build their AIdapative skills. It was challenging with 2 kids with the flu at home for the past 3 weeks... But now this is better π . If you are curious, the program is here; the next cohort starts on 31st March. β Let me know if you liked this edition or if you tried these tips. I respond to every person who writes to me! β |

Hello! I took my first training on generative AI precisely 2 years ago, and it is time to reflect. Since then, Iβve developed my own way to make generative AI fit into my work and life as a non-techie. Now I see it is the right approach. I have the chance to coach each week 2 to 3 leaders in health care to see how they or their team use generative AI. The biggest mistake Iβm seeing today is treating generative AI like a superhero tool instead of what it truly isβa team. Itβs what I teach in...
